About The Position

At American Pop Corn Company, we are currently seeking hard-working, dependable people to join our team as a Stacker on the 2nd shift. The Stacker is responsible for moving, stacking, and preparing finished product while keeping the production area clean and organized and assisting with production operations. This role requires performing repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the shift. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• One to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes of finished product according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Regularly lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Build and maintain stable pallets of finished product.
• Inspect boxes and finished product for damage or quality issues and report any concerns.
• Operate equipment and tools necessary to perform stacking duties safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and product quality.
• Perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
• Fill the machine with magazines and maintain the glue reservoir at the appropriate level.
• Record production data accurately every 15 minutes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
