Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Push trucks weighing up to 450lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Pushes out trees of bacon according to average and lot number to designated Bacon Roller.
  • Removes belly from tree aside to table.
  • Removes combs from bellies and sets aside combs neatly onto rod of comb truck.
  • Positions empty flats, stacks bellies in rows and prescribed asides flats.
  • Asides empty trees to smokehouse alley.
  • Cleans coolers and trims bellies as required.
  • Keeps Bacon Rollers supplied with proper sized bacon and correctly and efficiently decombs and stacks bellies.
  • Provides appropriate scaling, record keeping and inventory rotation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
