About The Position
The Stacker retrieves pallets from a stack, stacks cases on pallets according to product code, verifies dates on cases, and assembles boxes. The role also includes supporting production operations and following applicable safety and food-safety requirements. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Ability to flex and grip with wrists and hands.
- Ability to walk, bend, squat, and stand, and to repetitively lift 40–100 pounds from floor level to a height of 7 feet every 30–60 seconds.
- Ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication, using a calculator.
Responsibilities
- Stack product properly and maintain accurate case counts.
- Assist the Palletizer by keeping all packing materials needed for production stocked on the production floor.
- Perform other work as assigned by the supervisor.
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
- Perform all positions in the rotation, if applicable.
