About The Position

The Paw Bagger/Scaler catches and weighs paw bags at the hopper scale, adjusts product quantities as needed to meet weight requirements, and places completed bags into boxes for further processing. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment. The employee ensures products are correctly labeled and boxed in required quantities and produces a sample tare after setups or changeovers.

Requirements

• Follow all Tyson safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Be able to lift heavy items.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Be able to work scheduled production weekends.
• Be able to work 12-hour shifts if needed.
• Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all product is labeled with correct information and boxed with required quantities.
• Produce a sample tare after setups or changeovers.
• Catch and weigh paw bags at the hopper scale.
• Adjust product quantities as needed to meet weight requirements.
• Place completed bags into boxes for further processing.
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by management or a supervisor.
