About The Position

The Stacker retrieves pallets from the stack, stacks cases on pallets according to product code, verifies dates on cases, and assembles boxes. The role also involves maintaining accurate case counts, helping keep packing materials stocked on the production floor, and performing other work assigned by a supervisor. The Stacker must comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements and perform all positions in the rotation, if applicable. This position is at the Eufaula Fresh Plant on second shift. Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Certain roles may require a background check; applicants will receive additional documentation if a check is required after an offer is extended. Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting an application to provide additional information for employment consideration.

Requirements

Ability to flex and grip with wrists and hands.
Ability to walk, bend, squat, and stand.
Ability to lift 40–100 pounds repetitively, from floor level up to a height of 7 feet, every 30 to 60 seconds.
Ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication, using a calculator.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Retrieve pallets from the stack.
Stack cases on pallets according to product code.
Verify dates on cases and assemble boxes.
Stack product properly and maintain accurate case counts.
Assist the Palletizer by keeping packing materials needed for production stocked on the production floor.
Perform other work as assigned by the supervisor.
Comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
Perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
