About The Position
This position is responsible for stacking of product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Functions include maintaining and promoting the Tyson safety culture and receiving training as required. The position involves performing various positions as required/assigned. The core responsibility is stacking 70-pound tubs and 33 to 40 pound boxes of product from ground level to above shoulder. This requires periodic bending, lifting, twisting, and turning throughout the entire shift, with frequent lifting up to 70 pounds. The work environment may expose individuals to warm or cold temperatures, and wet, humid, or dusty conditions. The role requires walking, bending, standing, and maintaining skids (pallets) for use. It also involves placing crates between layers of box product when required, monitoring product weights, maintaining a clean stack-off area, and performing other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to perform periodic bending, lifting, twisting, and turning throughout entire shift
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis
- Must be able to stack product from ground level to above shoulder
- Must be able to maintain skids (pallets) available for use
- Must be able to put crates between layers of box product when guidelines require
- Must be able to monitor weights of tub to ensure they do not exceed 70 pounds
- Must be able to maintain a clean stack off area
