About The Position

We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Backend Developer to join a technology-driven team working on the design, development, and evolution of modern microservices-based applications. You will contribute to scalable backend solutions, collaborate with frontend teams using React, and participate in cloud-native deployments leveraging OpenShift and containerized environments.

Requirements

Proven experience in backend development with Java.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Experience working with microservices architectures.
Experience with Cassandra databases.
Knowledge of Docker containers and OpenShift platforms.
Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
Experience using Git version control systems.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Nice To Haves

Frontend development experience with React.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and consume REST APIs following best practices.
Develop microservices-based solutions and contribute to system scalability.
Deploy, monitor, and operate applications in OpenShift environments.
Collaborate with React frontend teams to ensure seamless service integration.
Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
Develop and execute unit tests and support continuous integration activities.
Analyze incidents and propose performance, scalability, and security improvements.
Work within Agile teams following Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
