At PMAT, we work on mission critical systems that directly support the warfighter, designing, building, and securing modern digital capabilities across cloud, data, and software environments. Our teams tackle complex, real-world challenges where delivery matters more than theory, and innovation is driven by curiosity, collaboration, and purpose. In this role, you’ll contribute to the U.S. Navy Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) program, working alongside engineers, technicians, and fleet operators to ensure mission-critical combat systems remain fully operational and ready to support national defense. As an SSDS Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational readiness of the U.S. Navy's Ship Self Defense System (SSDS). Working onsite at Wallops Island, Virginia, you'll perform hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system restoration activities on complex combat system equipment. Every day presents new technical challenges as you collaborate with experienced engineers, technicians, and government personnel to maintain and improve mission-essential capabilities that directly support the Fleet. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems and take pride in ensuring systems perform when they are needed most, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting our nation's defense.
