About The Position

This position is part of the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team within the Worldwide Data and AI GTM team. The role involves leading the GTM strategy for the AgentCore service, defining GTM strategies, and leading cross-functional initiatives to expand markets, develop adoption programs, and identify new opportunities. The team creates sales plays, leverages partners, and builds initiatives to drive customer results. They provide customer feedback to inform product roadmaps and work with the partner network to build a supporting ecosystem. In emerging areas, this team plays a critical role in building markets for new services, domains, or solutions. Activities include market sizing, building opportunity pipelines with global counterparts, understanding customer use cases and technical requirements, developing joint GTM strategies with foundation model partners, creating training content for field teams, driving industry thought-leadership, and working with product teams to define new features. The ideal candidate will have a business and technology background, enabling them to lead engagements with diverse customers (startups to multinational enterprises) and partners. Domain expertise in generative AI and key ML-powered use cases is essential, along with the technical depth to articulate the benefits of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to various audiences. A strong understanding of the AI Agent Platform and AgenticAI market trends, ecosystem, and opportunities is required, along with a passion for market development and evangelism. The role requires adeptness in interacting, communicating, and partnering with internal AWS teams (product, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, partner, professional services) and external customers and model providers. The individual will drive the GTM plan for Amazon Bedrock adoption, interact directly with customers to understand business problems, and collaborate with model providers and solutions architects to define and implement scalable GenAI solutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • 3+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience
  • Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience building sales plays and playbooks, prospecting for, advancing and closing sales pipeline to drive adoption of products/services/capabilities in ML, AI or Analytics across a large customer base with demonstrable results delivered.
  • Experience advocating on customers behalf by understanding their pain points, helping customers navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams.
  • Experience in managing multiple initiatives and campaigns simultaneously (customer engagements, sales motions, webinars, sales asset development, etc.) working across multiple functional teams (Product, Marketing, Solution Architects, Account teams).
  • Experience teaching account teams how to sell technical products and services
  • Experience managing, tracking, and communicating customer and market insights and objective business metrics and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Amazon Bedrock AgentCore GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams.
  • Leverage deep domain expertise to create best-in-class field enablement and sales strategy.
  • Support field teams in solution building for high-priority customers.
  • Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
  • Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.
