Vitalant is seeking a skilled Workday Core HCM Specialist to join our team in supporting and optimizing our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system following its go-live. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth post-implementation operations, continuous improvement, and user support within the Core HCM module.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Workday Core HCM module, preferably in a post go-live support or implementation role.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and training skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with technical teams.
  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Knowledge of applicable business application(s) required.
  • 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Workday ERP and relevant Workday SKU, required.
  • Workday configuration with a specialized focus in relevant Workday SKU, workflows, business processes, security, and reporting.
  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to gather technical and business requirements and translate into action plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, quality work within deadlines.
  • Candidates must have permanent, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or nonprofit environment is a plus.
  • Workday Certification in one or more modules preferred.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Workday Core HCM system post go-live, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with organizational processes.
  • Serve as a primary resource for resolving Core HCM-related issues and system inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to identify, analyze, and implement enhancements or fixes.
  • Provide training and communication to end-users on new features, updates, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with Workday support and external vendors for issue resolution and system upgrades.
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity, conducting regular audits and reports.
  • Document processes, system changes, and support activities.
