About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr VMware Horizon engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our VMware Horizon environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience. This role requires a deep understanding of virtualization technologies and a proven track record in managing complex VDI solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with VMware Horizon.
- Expertise in VMware Horizon components, including Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways, App Volumes, and Dynamic Environment Manager.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere and ESXi.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
- Experience with networking concepts, including VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
