Sr. VMWare Virtualization Engineer- TS/SCI Clearance
About The Position
Our client is looking for a Sr. VMWare Virtualization Engineer with an active TS/SCI Clearance. This role is located at Offutt AFB, NE. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining hyper-converged Enterprise infrastructure solutions, with specialized knowledge and experience. The current USSTRATCOM Enterprise virtualization utilizes Broadcom’s VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform, and experience with current versions of VCF, Omnissa Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies including Horizon, App Volumes, and Workspace ONE is required. An active intermediate-level or higher certification such as VMware Certified Professional or equivalent from other virtualization vendors is also required.
Requirements
- 8 years as an IT Systems Engineer
- Specialized knowledge, skillsets, and experience with designing, implementing and sustaining hyper-converged Enterprise infrastructure solutions
- Experience with current versions of VCF
- Experience with Omnissa Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies to include Horizon, App Volumes and Workspace ONE
- An active intermediate-level or higher certification such as VMware Certified Professional or equivalent certification from other virtualization vendors
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
