Sr Test Technician (1st shift 5:00am-2:30pm)

Mercury Systems•Phoenix, AZ

About The Position

Test and troubleshoot complex digital system assemblies in a fast-paced, changing environment. As part of the Test Engineering group, this seasoned individual contributor helps ensure the proper operation and functionality of advanced technology products, working under limited supervision in routine and defined situations. The role applies electronics principles to test and troubleshoot high-density, multi-system assemblies with multiple CPUs and FPGAs at both board and system level, and performs functional tests to verify PCB and system fit, form, and function. The technician uses specialized test equipment, monitors diagnostics, validates product configurations and test setups, collects and records performance data, and prepares complete test reports. The position also includes programming and verifying devices; troubleshooting systems, devices, processes, and test setups; supporting engineers in maintaining product and equipment operation to design specifications; testing new or changed equipment; and reporting defects and nonconforming materials while coordinating with production to resolve failures. This position requires access to information subject to U.S. export regulations. Access is limited to individuals who meet the stated citizenship, residency, protected-individual, or government-authorization requirements. Mercury Systems describes its workplace as casual and supportive, with opportunities to learn and grow, skills training, and tuition reimbursement.
