About The Position

The Sr. Test Engineer develops hardware and software automated test equipment (ATE) solutions for SiTime’s precision timing devices, from new product introduction (NPI) through high-volume production. The role includes designing and optimizing custom test hardware and ATE programs, analyzing test data, transferring test solutions to manufacturing partners, and improving production yield, test time, and cost. SiTime notes that candidates do not need to meet every job requirement to be qualified.

Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
At least 5 years of test development experience on mixed-signal ATE platforms such as Advantest V93K (PS1600) and Teradyne J750 or uFlex.
Experience with C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, and statistical analysis tools.
Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuit design and board-level debugging.
Experience using an oscilloscope and laboratory metrology tools for timing/frequency parameters.
Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, and sense of ownership and accountability.

Nice To Haves

Direct test development experience on major ATE platforms such as Advantest V93000 and Teradyne J750/UltraFLEX.
Experience with industry-standard handlers or probers such as TEL, Hon Precision, or Cohu.
Highly organized.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize custom test hardware, including load boards, custom test boards, and probe cards.
Write, debug, and optimize ATE test programs for J750/uFlex and V93K platforms.
Perform Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies and statistical analysis of test data.
Transfer NPI test solutions to OSATs and overseas manufacturing partners, and support offshore production releases.
Execute yield-enhancement, test-time-reduction, and cost-reduction projects.
