About The Position

SiTime is a precision timing company that develops semiconductor MEMS programmable solutions for applications including AI datacenters, automated driving, industrial and humanoid robots, wearables, and IoT. Its devices are designed to deliver higher performance, smaller size, lower power, and better reliability than traditional timing technologies. The Senior Test Development Engineer develops hardware and software test solutions for SiTime precision timing devices, from product development kickoff through end of life. The role defines ATE test hardware and software and supports new-product launches into high-volume production. Work includes board-level hardware design, algorithm development, software implementation, and validation using custom and standard automated test equipment platforms. The position collaborates with a cross-functional team and supports production test releases, yield enhancement, and cost reduction.

Requirements

Minimum bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
The posting states a minimum of 5–10 years of related work experience; fresh graduates will also be considered.
Solid background in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs.
Knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level design and debugging.
Experience in statistical analysis of test data.
Hands-on experience with electronics laboratory instrumentation.
Excellent programming skills and prior experience with C++.
Strong teamwork skills and a sense of urgency in meeting test requirements on schedule.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with Teradyne ETS-364, ETS-88, or uFLEX ATE platforms, or LTX-Credence ASL1K.

Responsibilities

Develop robust test solutions for SiTime precision timing devices, balancing quality, cost, and time to market.
Design custom test boards and probe cards at the board level.
Set up, implement, debug, and optimize automated test programs.
Ensure test programs are scalable for multi-site testing, reusable, and accurate, including GR&R.
Transfer NPI test packages to production.
Collaborate with overseas personnel to release test solutions into production.
Lead yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.
Support other projects as directed by management or as business needs evolve.
