The purpose of this job is to focus on diagnosing and repairing Exterior Signs & Lighting work orders. This includes identifying potential and existing problems with electrical signage and lighting, providing analysis and investigation of issues, and determining the best solution for needed repairs. The role involves working with voltages from 120 to 480 volts and requires adherence to proper lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols. The technician will complete service appointments, accurately insert notes, and communicate with facility maintenance for all repairs and installs, ensuring timely completion. Responsibilities also include responding to service requests, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing based on warranty and industry standards, and communicating repair status to the ESL supervisor and store management. Excellent customer service is expected when interacting with onsite team members, requiring a professional and respectful manner and collaboration to meet project deadlines. The technician will complete same-day work order repair notes, ensure charge allocations are entered, and monitor truck stock for necessary parts. Maintenance of the service vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and uniforms according to company standards is also required, along with routine testing and calibration of equipment. Compliance with OSHA regulations for repairs and work activities, maintaining a safe worksite by preparing it, eliminating hazards, and cleaning up daily, and keeping maintenance workspaces and company vehicles clean and organized are essential. Support during emergency situations like power outages or safety incidents is also part of the role, as is modeling behaviors that support the company’s common purpose and ensuring compliance with all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Travel is required less than 75%.
