The purpose of this job is to focus on diagnosing and repairing Exterior Signs & Lighting work orders. This role involves identifying potential and existing problems with electrical signage and lighting, providing analysis and investigation of issues, and determining the best solution for needed repairs. The technician will follow proper lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols, complete service appointments with accurate notes, and communicate with facility maintenance. They will ensure timely completion of service appointments, respond to service requests, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair based on warranty and industry standards. Communication with the ESL supervisor and store management regarding repair status is essential, as is providing excellent customer service to onsite team members. The role requires completing same-day work order repair notes, ensuring charge allocations are entered, and monitoring truck stock for parts availability. Maintaining the service vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and uniforms according to company standards is also a key responsibility. The technician will perform routine testing and calibration of equipment, ensure repairs and work activities comply with OSHA regulations, and maintain a safe and clean worksite and company vehicles. Support during emergency situations and modeling behaviors that support the company’s common purpose are also part of the role. Travel is required less than 75%.
