The Technical Staff Consultant provides support to the ChemTreat field sales representatives as needed throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role is responsible for actively participating in the technology selection stage of the sales process, serving as the key technical advisor and product advocate for products and solutions. The consultant will also assist account managers in understanding client business conditions, risks, and controls, and interface with client leads to become a trusted advisor. Field sales assistance, including plant surveys, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and customer entertainment, is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the position requires conducting confined space equipment inspections as defined by OSHA and involves travel throughout the continental U.S. approximately three days per week.
