About The Position

Provide technical support and leadership for chemical engineering activities within the Olefins Technology Group. Perform feasibility studies and develop engineering design deliverables. Conduct technical meetings with clients and handle interdisciplinary meetings and information transfer. Provide lifecycle technical support from basic engineering to plant operation. Evaluate and develop process improvements based on engineering and plant operating data. Mentor and train junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience
• 10 years of experience in Olefins process design, optimization or operation
• 10 years of experience utilizing process design simulation software Aspen to develop new or revamped designs
• 5 years of experience leading process engineering teams on basic engineering technology projects
