About The Position

This role involves collaborating with management to analyze and forecast staffing needs, locales, and strategies. The Sr Talent Advisor will consult with managers on offers, active recruitment searches, and local employment market conditions. Responsibilities include sourcing active and passive job seekers through various channels, pre-screening candidates, conducting and scheduling interviews, and initiating the hiring process. The role also provides guidance and mentorship to other team members, assists with open positions, facilitates interviews, and handles managers' calls in their absence. Additionally, the position participates in and develops special projects to enhance the Recruiting department's functions, makes process improvement recommendations, and provides reporting on position status, hires, sources, and time to fill.

Requirements

  • Experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
  • Proficiency in sourcing techniques (Internet, referrals, job fairs, cold calls, social media, networking).
  • Ability to pre-screen candidates and assess qualifications.
  • Experience conducting and scheduling interviews.
  • Knowledge of the hiring process, including offer extension, drug screens, and background checks.
  • Mentorship and guidance capabilities.
  • Ability to assist team members with open positions and facilitate interviews.
  • Skills in project development and enhancement of recruiting functions.
  • Capability to make process improvement recommendations.
  • Reporting skills for position status, hires, sources, and time to fill.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to analyze and forecast staffing needs, locales and strategies.
  • Consult with managers on offers, active recruitment searches, and local employment market conditions.
  • Source both active and passive job seekers via Internet, referrals, job fairs, cold calls, and social media and networking outlets.
  • Pre-screen candidates to assess qualifications and experience levels.
  • Conduct and schedule candidate interviews with various hiring managers.
  • Initiate hiring process to include: extending contingent verbal offers, arranging drug screens and background checks.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.
  • Continual involvement and assistance with other team members, which include: open positions, facilitating interviews and fielding managers' calls in their absence.
  • Participate in and develop special projects to enhance and improve the Recruiting department's functions.
  • Make process improvement recommendations as needed.
  • Provide reporting on status of positions, hires, sources and time to fill.
