Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering, Industrial Engineering science, preferred, Food Technology, Business or other related area of study
  • 4-8 years’ experience as a Maintenance or Manufacturing Supervisor
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage maintenance operations to support production targets, equipment reliability, and plant financial goals
  • Ensure safe work practices and full compliance with GMP, OSHA, FDA, and company standards
  • Oversee maintenance of all plant equipment, utilities, and systems to maximize uptime and performance
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including labor, expenses, and spare parts inventory
  • Administer and optimize the preventive maintenance (PM) program and CMMS (e.g., Maximo)
  • Supervise maintenance teams, including staffing, performance, and development
  • Plan and execute maintenance projects, including coordination with external contractors and engineering support
  • Partner cross-functionally with production, quality, and leadership teams to deliver responsive service and continuous improvement
  • Accountable for meeting compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
