About The Position

Marvell is seeking a highly motivated and talented Principal Test Engineer to join its dynamic New Product Introduction (NPI) test engineering team. You will work on cutting-edge technologies, including AI Compute platforms, Server, and Network Processors, contributing to the development of next-generation products. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience. Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years of test program development experience on the Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne UltraFLEX ATE tester platform(s).
  • Demonstrable experience in ATE testing (critical skill), test methodology, silicon process, DFT/DFM, and high-speed digital testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++, Perl, Python, Java, and Linux environment.
  • Effective interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated individual contributor with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Development of Cutting-Edge ATE Test Solutions: As a Senior Level Test Engineer, you will spearhead the development of ATE test solutions for characterization, production, and wafer sort on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne tester platforms.
  • Drive Innovation in High-Speed Testing Hardware: Design and develop state-of-the-art ATE test hardware solutions for high-speed testing, enabling robust and scalable testing for next generation products.
  • Define and Own Comprehensive Test Methodologies: Create detailed test plans and methodologies documentation aligned with stringent product specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in testability and test plan reviews with DFx and Design teams, working together to define and enhance yield and test methodologies.
  • Bridge Design and Production: Lead the translation of simulation test patterns into ATE-ready test programs, ensuring seamless handoff from design validation to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Optimize and Innovate: Play a lead role in optimizing test flows, reducing test times, removing unnecessary steps, improving yields, and releasing production test programs in collaboration with product engineers.
