About The Position

The Sr. Staff Software Engineer will join LinkedIn’s Capacity & Efficiency Engineering team, which drives end-to-end infrastructure capacity planning and efficiency strategy. The team builds datasets, models, and planning systems that connect infrastructure demand to business growth, attribute costs to products, and forecast resource needs across infrastructure platforms. These systems support decisions by Product, Finance, and Infrastructure leadership on investment, capacity allocation, budget planning, and efficiency. In this senior technical leadership role, you will help build foundational datasets, models, and tools for infrastructure visibility, cost attribution, and planning. You will establish a high bar for technical excellence, mentor engineers, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver forward-thinking solutions. The position is hybrid, with work performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by business needs.
