This role includes providing support within a specialized academic environment that values inclusive and accessible communication. The position may require or strongly prefer the ability to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) to effectively engage with Deaf and hard-of-hearing students, faculty, and staff. The incumbent will also coordinate and provide day-to-day guidance to student assistants, helping to manage workflow, support training, and ensure timely completion of departmental priorities. In addition, the role contributes to the department’s digital presence by assisting with social media and communications efforts, supporting recruitment, outreach, and program visibility.
