About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant with at least three years of full-cycle accounting and finance experience, preferably in the construction industry. This role involves working closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• Minimum of three years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the construction industry is beneficial.
• Experience with Quickbooks and Sage Intacct is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and monitor for discrepancies.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Support year-end audits and tax preparation for external auditors.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings as needed.
• Contribute to Work-in-Progress (WIP) calculations.
• Handle special assignments as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information to protect company operations.
