Requirements

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy (or will obtain GA license within 30 days of hire and will have no patient contact until received).
• Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
• Three plus years practicing as a Physical Therapist.

Nice To Haves

• Sports Physical Therapy Residency
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a dual role of practicing Physical Therapist and Program Development.
• Develop and administer physical therapy programs and treatments of age groups defined by clinical competency for outpatient Sports Medicine.
• Develop and implement Physical Therapy Enrichment program for system-wide implementation.
• Establish Sports Medicine focused functional kinetic chain rehab to provide total body integrated musculoskeletal care to athletes and active people of all ages and skill levels.
