About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sr. Specialist, Legal Affairs to support our business. This role provides essential legal, administrative, and organizational support within the Legal Department and plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations across contracts, agreements, and corporate recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, comfortable wearing many hats, and enjoys supporting a cross-functional team. Requirements

  • 4-7 years’ experience in contract preparation & review, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • American Bar Association approved paralegal certificate or paralegal studies credential.
  • Thorough understanding of contract documents, contract concepts, and agreement lifecycle management.
  • Strong drafting, editing, and proofreading skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience using contract management software or legal matter management systems. At Boingo we use Salesforce.
  • Experience in a high-volume, high-speed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, edit, and organize a variety of agreements, including vendor contracts, independent contractor agreements, NDAs, and customer contracts.
  • Partner with and advise internal stakeholders in clarifying terms and ensuring that agreements align with company needs and risk mitigation requirements.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle by tracking contract deadlines, renewals, milestones, and requirements using organized system and reminders.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and internal processes.
  • Communicate with outside counsel and conduct case research.
  • Organize and maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring documents are logically structured, easy to retrieve, and kept confidential.
  • Support special projects, internal audits, and process-improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Conduct legal and factual research involving contract standards, terms, conditions, and insurance requirements.
