Requirements

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

A Juris Doctorate (JD) is required from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

Work with our credit union members to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Research, develop, and update The League's compliance information and materials for use by credit unions and League staff.
Consult with regulators, credit union representatives, league staff, and legal counsel to address or resolve compliance and operational issues.
Provide training and support on legal matters to credit unions.
Foster a culture of legal excellence and integrity across the organization, ensuring that our members receive the highest level of service and protection.
