Sr Software Engineer
About The Position
This role administers, supports, and improves Microsoft 365 productivity services in Lumen’s commercial and government tenants, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Stream, Forms, Viva, and related collaboration services. It supports defined projects, resolves end-user and operational issues, and partners with business and technical teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable productivity solutions. The role also maintains business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio, and assists users with integrating those solutions with Microsoft 365 services where appropriate. The position is fully remote within the United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 products and services, such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- General knowledge and experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio, including the ability to design, develop, and maintain solutions using these tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with others on designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- U.S. citizenship.
Nice To Haves
- PowerShell experience.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting Microsoft 365 productivity services, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Stream, and Viva.
- Assist in supporting Power Platform development, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Fabric, and Copilot Studio.
- Assist with development and support projects, including AI tools and CMMC compliance and assessment.
- Support end-user development by teaching, training, and consulting.
- Develop solutions, document them, and build end-user knowledge base content.
- Resolve end-user and operational issues and support defined projects.
