About The Position

Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within Resideo. Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, generate innovative solutions, and identify and propose technical improvements. This role builds and maintains scalable, reliable mobile and web applications supporting connected HVAC and smart home devices. It collaborates with cloud, product, and AI/ML teams to deliver software capabilities and customer experiences, while contributing to platform improvements and establishing engineering patterns, templates, and documentation. The position offers the opportunity to own critical platform initiatives, lead projects and shape architecture, and take work from concept through production and long-term operation. The technology environment includes Azure cloud, event-driven systems, large-scale telemetry, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices. The role works in a hybrid setting, with three days in the office and two days remote. The position is not eligible for US sponsorship.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on UX or mobile app development.
Strong understanding of .NET, C#, and networking.
Strong skills in at least one framework, such as Xamarin/MAUI or Flutter, for development on both iOS and Android.
Familiarity with ReactJS.
Familiarity with Python.
Understanding of database design and utilization.
Hands-on experience with product launch and go-to-market strategies.

Knowledge of HVAC, smart home, or industrial systems.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, such as Terraform, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
