About The Position

This role is for a Sr Full Stack Software Engineer II who is passionate about building innovative AI-powered platforms that transform how organizations capture, process, and extract insights from media-rich content. The engineer will lead technical architecture decisions, mentor teams, and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions using modern AI technologies. The position involves building next-generation AI-powered video, audio, and image capture solutions for a digital reporting platform. The engineer will design and develop secure, cloud-native applications leveraging modern AI services for intelligent media processing and real-time data extraction. Collaboration across engineering, product, UX, security, and operations teams is expected, along with providing technical leadership and architectural guidance on enterprise-scale solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering along with 8+ years in Java/Spring Boot, React, and modern web architectures.
  • Experience with Node.js, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience in integrating AI/ML technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Speech, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, security, scalability, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architectural decisions.
  • Experience with audio, video, image processing, or media platforms.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience building Generative AI solutions and enterprise AI applications.
  • Background in highly regulated industries such as public safety, healthcare, finance, or government.
  • Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Principal Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise-scale applications using React.js and Java/Spring Boot.
  • Build scalable microservices, APIs, and event-driven integrations.
  • Integrate AI services including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Speech, and Document Intelligence.
  • Develop secure, cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, and containerized platforms.
  • Establish architecture standards for security, scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams.
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship.
  • Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud engineering best practices.
