About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior SAP HANA & Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative data solutions using SAP HANA and its ecosystem. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data warehousing and reporting solutions. You will also optimize existing BW processes and data models for improved performance and efficiency, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP BW-related issues, ensuring the availability and reliability of BW applications.

Requirements

Proven experience with SAP Native HANA data modeling.
Strong experience in designing, developing, and implementing SAP HANA models, including calculation views, table functions, and stored procedures.
Experience in developing and maintaining BOBJ reports using tools like Web Intelligence and Analysis for Office.
Experience with ETL processes using SAP BODS to extract, transform, and load data into SAP HANA and other target systems.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL scripts and logic beyond graphical modeling, including the use of HANA SQLScript for data-intensive logic.
Strong conceptual understanding of end-to-end business cycles-specifically Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Plan-to-Produce (Production), and Record-to-Report (R2R)-with the ability to translate functional specifications from FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, and QM modules into actionable KPIs, quality metrics, and strategic dashboards.
Good Understanding of SAP S/4HANA tables and CDS views (for reporting developers).
Experience working on SLT (System Landscape Transformation).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good experience in utilization of AI models from providers like Joule, Gemini, ChatGPT, and others.
Ability to Design, develop, and implement data models and ETL processes in SAP BW to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Hands-on experience in implementing end-to-end SAP BW solutions, including data extraction, transformation, modelling, and reporting from both Standard and Custom Data Sources.
Optimize existing BW processes and data models for improved performance and efficiency.
BW-ABAP: Optimize existing BW Code and HANA applications for performance and scalability.
HANA Modelling - Calculation views, Stored procedures, Scalar & Table functions.
Create and enhance new/existing Native HANA models, views to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities and IT standards.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP BW-related issues, ensuring the availability and reliability of BW applications.
Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the BW solutions align with business needs.

Nice To Haves

Experience working on reporting tools like ThoughtSpot, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Alteryx.
Experience in Mainframes systems.
Experience working on Datawarehouse on Microsoft Fabric , SAP BDC , SAP Datasphere, SAP BW4HANA, and SAP BW.
Good exposure to SAP BW/4HANA - ADSO, Composite Provider, ODP BW Extractors, Open ODS View, BW Query, AFO.
