About The Position

Sales Support is responsible for coordinating between the sales team and our customers to deliver the best customer experience through customer/project onboard to project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing or a related field or relevant equivalent work experience
  • Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
  • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems; Prior experience with SalesForce.com required
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Need to be flexible to operate with sales team and customer schedule in mind
  • Strong customer focus to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acts with customer in mind, and establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers
  • Strong planning skills to accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks/projects, set objectives and goals, break work down into steps, develop schedules, anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with senior management, staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and customers
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service and support for sales activity, working with internal and external customers, contractors, and/or business partners.
  • Provide tools, resources, services, and analysis to enable team members to perform their jobs more effectively and focus on customers.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with supply chain and operations partners for daily activity and production quality.
  • Supports the sales team with customer communication related to multi-unit renovation projects.
  • Coordinates with order processing, supply chain and operations on timing of cabinet assembly and delivery.
  • Create and process contracts for all accounts. Communicate any items to be addressed and/or needs for revision prior to contract execution.
  • Determine if a sale is complete by ensuring the contract, pricing tool and CRM opportunity match up.
  • Coordinate meetings as necessary for internal and external parties.
  • Develop policies, procedures, training and testing as needed.
  • Utilizes problem solving skills to respond to and resolve routine customer service issues via inbound and outbound telephone calls, written correspondence and/or electronic communication, and in person according to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and contract coverage.
  • Maintains current knowledge of all company policies, procedures, & programs
  • Address customer concerns, rectifying any errors and enter customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary.
