Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business or other relevant discipline of equivalent experience
  • 5+ years working experience preferably in a customer facing role
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of the cloud (infrastructure, business model, growth areas)
  • IT savvy (Understanding of IT technologies, infrastructure)
  • Communicate with internal/ external stakeholders across organizational levels
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of differences in multi-cultural business environments
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirited people’s person
  • Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • Additional MS/MBA degrees a plus
  • Understanding of the semiconductor industry
  • International experience, bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

  • Category revenue responsibility: AI related memory sales with multi- billion $ revenue targets
  • Build customer relationships across the customer organization and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and close agreements on product target quantities and prices (multi-level, multi department, multi-cultural).
  • Execute agreements on a monthly or quarterly basis to meet revenue targets.
  • Manage PO placement, invoicing, payments, and credit.
  • Manage and optimize supply chain activities aligned with customer requirements (hub operations, material returns, and data-management).
  • Responsible for category strategy & forecasting and execution planning
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for category product portfolio qualifications & quality control
  • Manage, analyze and align sales forecasts with production targets
  • Report account activities and results to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Travel to customer site, Samsung US, Korea/China as applicable (and when possible).
  • Local: Visit customers, 2-4x per week
  • Domestic: San Jose, 1-2x per quarter
  • International: Asia, 1-2x per year
