About The Position

The Global RFP Team develops high-quality Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), consultant databases, and other new business and client-related questionnaires that accurately represent Franklin Templeton’s investment capabilities, products, and services. Through strong partnerships with Sales, Consultant Relations, Investments, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Client Service, and other key stakeholders, the team delivers timely, accurate, and compelling responses that support client retention, business growth, and long-term client relationships. As part of the Global RFP Team, the Senior RFP Specialist serves as a trusted advisor and project manager responsible for leading the development of complex RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and other client questionnaires. In addition to managing complex proposal deliverables, this role is expected to influence team success by championing quality standards, promoting knowledge sharing, and identifying opportunities to enhance processes and the overall client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of proposal writing, RFP, DDQ, consultant database, or related experience within asset management or the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex proposal projects while successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional written, editing, proofreading, analytical, and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; experience with proposal or content management systems, and AI tools is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring others, exercising independent judgment, identifying process improvements, and driving operational excellence while maintaining a client-focused mindset.
  • Broad knowledge of investment products and financial markets—including equity, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-asset strategies—or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of complex RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and client questionnaires, ensuring accuracy, quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Partner with Sales, Consultant Relations, Investments, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Client Service, and other stakeholders to develop compelling, client-focused responses and proposal strategies.
  • Champion proposal quality by reviewing, editing, and providing guidance on proposal content to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with Franklin Templeton’s messaging and brand standards.
  • Serve as a trusted resource and subject matter expert by mentoring colleagues, supporting onboarding, sharing best practices, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance proposal content, streamline workflows, strengthen knowledge management, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while proactively communicating timelines, risks, and project status and exercising sound judgment to resolve complex or ambiguous requests.
  • Influence the continued success of the Global RFP Team by contributing to strategic initiatives, technology enhancements, and process improvements that improve scalability, consistency, and the overall client experience.
