About The Position

The Sr. Release Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle of feature and service releases across the Success Offerings portfolio. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing releases spanning new features, experience updates, service changes, and process or policy updates. This role ensures releases are delivered in a predictable, coordinated, and high-quality manner by driving cross-functional alignment across Success Offerings, field teams, engineering, and more. The Sr. Release Manager also ensures teams are fully prepared for launch and that releases are executed with minimal risk and disruption.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, release management, product operations, or related roles
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with subscription-based services, customer success, or SaaS business models
  • Experience driving large-scale enablement or readiness programs
  • Background in customer success, sales, or GTM operations

Responsibilities

  • Own release planning, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies across Success Offerings
  • Manage the full release lifecycle from design, build, test, and launch
  • Maintain a centralized release roadmap in partnership with Offering Managers and other Release Managers
  • Plan and manage release windows and cycles
  • Lead Go-Live activities, including execution of launch and communication plans
  • Ensure cross-functional readiness (testing, pilots, documentation, support preparedness)
  • Conduct release readiness, milestone, and Go/No-Go reviews
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks impacting release scope, timeline, or quality
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional issues and dependencies
  • Ensure customer and business risks are clearly documented with mitigation plans
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across teams
  • Communicate release plans, timelines, changes, and status to stakeholders
  • Provide regular release reporting and updates
  • Continuously improve release management processes, tools, and operating rhythms
  • Drive consistency and scalability across release practices
