About The Position

We are seeking a Release Manager to support the Investment Accounting platform. This role bridges engineering and SaaS operations ensuring seamless, high-quality releases across a cloud-native Investment Accounting platform. The ideal candidate brings hands-on familiarity with Azure-based microservices, Kubernetes deployments, Kafka, and modern CI/CD practices. The Release Manager will drive operational excellence through strong release governance, deployment automation, and robust runbook development.

Requirements

Knowledge of release management principles, SDLC, version control and software deployment
Working knowledge of modern cloud-native architectures, including Azure, Kubernetes (containerized microservices), and ARGOCD-based deployments
Familiarity with event-driven systems (Confluent Kafka) and distributed data platforms
Experience with datastores such as Snowflake, Rocks DB, and Redis caches
Understanding of secure configuration management (e.g., Azure Key Vault)
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Kibana and Grafana
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines driven by PR-based workflows

Responsibilities

Own and manage the release lifecycle including build schedules, packaging, deployment execution, and validation
Support E2E deployment and testing activities across environments, ensuring quality, stability and deployment readiness of releases
Act as a liaison with SaaS Operations teams for release planning, deployment readiness, and operational handover
Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployment processes and improve release efficiency
Ensure proper management of configuration and environment dependencies during releases
Support runbook creation, updates, and operational readiness for production support
Coordinate across teams for go/no-go evaluation and tollgates
Post release monitoring to accept feedback, triage deployment issues and continued process optimization
