The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of multiple construction projects and project teams in accordance with company policies, procedures and goals by performing their duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. This role involves overseeing project teams in the management of the project, reviewing pre-construction planning and documentation, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The Senior Project Manager also supports the purchasing department, reviews subcontract agreements, and becomes intimately familiar with project plans and specifications. They work with Project Managers and Superintendents on construction schedules, oversee the submittal process, and ensure timely and accurate monthly payment applications. Additionally, this role provides oversight of project RFIs, change management processes, and attends project meetings. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for quality assurance, final inspections, close-out, monitoring correspondence, public agency coordination, and promoting a safe work environment.
