This position reports to the Director, Portfolio Management. The Sr. Project Manager will serve as the primary client liaison, leading project implementations and program workstreams within PointClickCare's Strategic Delivery Office (SDO). The role supports multi-year enterprise transformation programs and/or individual projects governed by the SDO, ensuring alignment with transformation strategy and portfolio objectives. Responsibilities include managing both standalone projects and workstreams within larger transformation programs, requiring collaboration with Program Directors, Business stakeholders, OCM partners, and Enterprise Architecture teams.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ experience in project management
  • 3-5 years' experience in SaaS business environments
  • Experience in managing at least one of the following types of projects: Enterprise-wide transformation programs, Technology modernization projects, Multi-vendor delivery projects, or Cross-functional multi-team delivery initiatives.
  • Experience delivering workstreams within enterprise-wide transformation programs (multi-year, cross-functional).
  • Experience working within matrixed governance environments with cross-program dependencies.
  • Experience in managing enterprise information management programs, corporates data office projects or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience partnering with OCM teams to manage change impacts and readiness.
  • Self-motivated, strong and demonstrated business acumen, assertive.
  • Extremely detailed oriented, organized, exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, scope management with the ability to interpret portfolio dashboards, metrics, and data insights to drive decisions.
  • Comfortable working with AI-assisted delivery and analysis tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining, and conveying risks and/or impacts to budget, schedule and resourcing.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Aha!, JIRA or other project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/customers’ needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes and ensure alignment with SDO governance, intake, and prioritization standards.
  • Leads the project with clear ownership, ensuring alignment, momentum, and cohesion across all workstreams.
  • Working closely with different business units to execute project scope and objectives while ensuring alignment with broader transformation program roadmaps, sequencing, and dependencies. Participate in integrated planning rhythms across SDO programs.
  • Manage the project budget, scope, team resources, communications, and project plans, ensuring scope and solutions are aligned to expected business outcomes to support benefits realization.
  • Proactively integrate Change Management into project planning, collaborating with Program Change Directors to manage readiness, impacts, communications, adoption needs, and collision risks across the portfolio.
  • Organize, lead, facilitate meetings with clear objectives, compile timely meeting summary minutes.
  • Reports and effectively communicates to executive sponsors and business stakeholders: project milestones, budget tracking, status updates, as well as any existing or potential escalation issues. Proactively follow escalation and change control processes. Has overall ownership of all management reports on a given project. Reporting must follow SDO standard formats, contributing to portfolio dashboards and integrated program reporting.
  • Leverage data-driven metrics and AI-enabled insights to support forecasting, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
  • Risk and Issue management. Have the knowledge, skills, and experience to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming. You can articulate problems, bring the right people together to solve problems and know when the problem has been properly addressed and closed, all this with the proper sense of urgency that the problem requires.
  • Drives ownership of decisions to the level where the accountability of the decision must lie.
  • Coordinate with Vendors, as necessary, from SOW, onboarding into project team and holding Vendor deliverables accountable to schedule and per contract. Manage Vendor relationships and lead calls with vendors.
  • Thoroughly understanding our business functions and technical needs.
  • Managing the day-to-day implementation of operational project aspects, defining project tasks and resource allocation.
  • Foster continued growth of the team’s project management capabilities, improving knowledge and experience within the PMO.
  • Contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the Project Management Office.
