Job Summary: Adventist Health White Memorial is looking for Sr. Project Manager, Construction for Full-time 8-hour Day shift. We are looking for great individual who can work onsite to our location in White Memorial, CA. Manages the requirements and project delivery performance for multiple strategic and routine construction projects as assigned throughout Adventist Health. Interfaces with hospital and operations personnel and local and regional leadership to develop and administer projects in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and organization guidelines. Manages project design professionals, contractors and consultants, oversees approved projects, develops scope, schedule, and budget for potential projects, executes against scope, schedule and budget commitments, benchmarks project performance to industry best practices and adheres to key performance indicators (KPIs). Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in business or healthcare or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Master's Degree: Preferred Five years' related experience: Preferred One year's leadership experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification: Required Essential Functions: Provides project management expertise and guidance to implement complex strategic initiatives. Develops strategic project commitments, including scope, schedule, and budget within the Adventist Health Office of Design & Construction established process. Manages implementation to meet commitments within named locations, which are primarily Adventist Health White Memorial and Adventist Health Montebello. There may be infrequent assignments in nearby Glendale CA, depending on program volume variations as well as team member vacation coverage. Projects will primarily occur in acute care space though some will occur in outpatient clinic settings. Extensive experience with complex projects under the jurisdiction of HCAI / OSHPD is mandatory. Familiarly and attentiveness to Environment of Care and Infection Prevention requirements are also essential. Familiarly and the ability to support clinical and facility departments during CMS and The Joint Commission surveys is highly preferred. Assigns resources to managed projects (internal and external) in order to meet charter commitments, key performance indicators (KPIs), and realizes defined benefits. Supports different lines of business, cycling on and off engagements within the project management lifecycle. Delivers work on time and within budget with matrixed resources. Reports on project health and status to key stakeholders, including senior leadership. Reviews and prepares documentation, presentations and data with accuracy and thoroughness. Contributes, leads, and owns the development of project/program documentation including project charter, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, project schedules, scope documents and issue tracking. Identifies, establishes, and manages key benefits and value tracking in alignment with Adventist Health strategic objectives. Demonstrates commitment to training and mentoring staff. Manages complex and challenging project issues and move a project from red to green status. Negotiates, collaborates and gains acceptance on ideas, plans, and actions and implement across organizational boundaries. Uses familiarity in a healthcare environment with specific emphasis on clinical and/or revenue cycle experience to achieve department objectives. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
