About The Position

The Sr. Project Engineer is responsible for the design and installation of projects and serves as a senior active member of the Engineering community, site technical team, local engineering team, and assigned project teams. The role applies engineering expertise to successfully execute and deliver projects that provide a competitive advantage to the business. Travel is approximately 20–50%, depending on project demands. The role is based at one of the following sites: Battle Creek, Michigan; Cary, North Carolina; Jackson, Tennessee; Kansas City, Kansas; or Chicago, Illinois.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in a comparable technical position in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or a related industry.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and knowledge of engineering disciplines such as Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction, or Computer Services.
• In-depth understanding of the designated functional engineering area of expertise, including processes in the Salty category.
