About The Position

The Senior Project Engineer facilitates successful construction project delivery independently, applying comprehensive technical expertise in project activities, methodologies, and leading practices. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align work with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards. It monitors progress, analyzes performance metrics, identifies moderately complex issues, and recommends solutions to mitigate risk and improve outcomes. The engineer also shares project knowledge, resolves moderately complex tasks, and supports continuous improvement and team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• Complete the OSHA 30 program within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review moderately complex technical aspects of construction projects to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain a consistent field presence to support safe work execution, participate in safety meetings including stretch and flex, and apply working knowledge of high-risk activities to support effective planning and controlled outcomes.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve moderately complex technical challenges and support crew productivity and project progress.
• Review and provide feedback on construction drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Support project controls, including schedule tracking and cost monitoring, to promote timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and present progress reports and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through field analysis and engineering solutions.
• Support less experienced project team members in resolving moderately complex issues and provide technical expertise on safety and quality standards.
