This location also features an on-site Distribution Center, ensuring efficient delivery of products to customers. As a Sr. Project Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in driving capital projects that modernize and strengthen manufacturing operations at Post Consumer Brands. This role leads the execution of complex, electrical‑focused capital projects—from front‑end engineering through startup—while partnering closely with operations, engineering, controls, and external vendors. You’ll have meaningful ownership, real visibility, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact at the site and across the network. This role will be based out of the Bloomsburg, PA facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred; Mechanical, Chemical, or related disciplines considered)
  • 3–5 years of experience in project or construction management, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical and controls background, including PLC‑driven capital projects
  • Experience managing contractors and cross‑functional engineering teams
  • Comfort navigating change, influencing without authority, and leading through ambiguity
  • A desire to grow into future technical and people leadership roles onsite

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, charters, budgets, schedules, and cost controls
  • Ensure adherence to the Capital Project Delivery process, including front‑end engineering and startup management
  • Manage electrical and controls‑heavy projects, including PLC upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and equipment installations
  • Partner with internal teams and external contractors to execute projects safely, on time, and on budget
  • Drive resolution of technical challenges while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and applicable codes
  • Serve as the primary point of communication between project teams and plant leadership, clearly sharing status, risks, and milestones
  • Support long‑term site reliability through infrastructure upgrades and controls standardization
