Sr Project Engineer
About The Position
This position is with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit, which focuses on empowering people to transform industries and provide customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The role involves leading capital projects for manufacturing processes and equipment, analyzing data to improve processes, optimizing plant performance, and serving as a technical consultant. The position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and involves travel. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
- 6–12 years of relevant industry experience
- Background in chemical manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong process engineering knowledge
- Experience with engineering design methods
- Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and juggle multiple priorities
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead the scoping, design, and execution of capital projects for manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Analyze data, improve processes, and implement changes to optimize plant performance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
- Serve as a technical consultant, providing engineering expertise across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, influencing decisions and driving alignment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Travel 30–50% to support project execution.
