  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Experience working independently in ambiguous environments and managing multiple competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience in Recruiting, HR or operations
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
  • Experience with change management strategies and driving adoption of new processes or product features
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends and anomalies in process and product performance
  • Experience managing product or program launches end-to-end, including beta deployments, acceptance criteria reviews, and post-launch retrospectives
  • Exposure to compliance requirements such as data privacy, accessibility, and localization in product design
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and operational readiness materials to support successful product or process launches
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior team members

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Voice of the Customer, articulating recruiter, candidate, and stakeholder needs and translating them into clear business use cases, prioritizing technical requirements with product managers, and compelling narratives for senior leadership
  • Follow Amazon program management best-practices and work backward from the customer; participate in in-person customer research and user studies
  • Identify interesting use cases and clarify how they differ from existing solutions; provide stakeholders with insights into market opportunities
  • Refine business use cases and justifications to support prioritization decisions and demonstrate return on investment
  • Ensure usability studies include diverse customer sets and perspectives
  • Act as the programmatic business owner for Amazon Talent Acquisition product or process domains, working with subject-matter experts to design ideal-state workflows, identifying where to improve process and technology, and standardizing processes to remove operational complexity and enable effective product outcomes
  • Translate customer pain-points and operational needs into clear functional requirements or UX designs in partnership with technical teams for strategic documentation (e.g., PR/FAQs, BRD, LRD)
  • Partner with UX designers to mockup and prototype features (when appropriate), confirming the design meets customer and business needs.
  • Ensure plans account for compliance requirements (e.g., legal, financial, data privacy/security), localization (e.g., language, regional requirements), and accessibility (e.g., people with disabilities)
  • Communicate clearly and directly with customers and end users, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
  • Establish and maintain mechanisms to keep all stakeholders aligned on expectations, progress, and delivery timelines, proactively escalating impasses to maintain momentum

  • Accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., "Path to Green"), and escalating appropriately
  • Drive constructive discussions that help users, designers, developers, legal, compliance, and sales teams reach consensus
  • Be data-driven; understand the risk of acting on a vocal minority and apply a broad range of analytics techniques appropriately
  • Define, monitor, and build solutions that improve key success metrics (KPIs); identify and research anomalies in performance and escalate findings or drive resolution
  • Analyze product feature launches and perform post-mortem analysis on efficacy, issues experienced, and lessons learned
  • Develop and deliver operational reporting for updated processes to drive standards across multiple business segments at launch.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to support the successful rollout and sustained adoption of new features
  • Apply process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, or equivalent frameworks) to map current-state and future-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and define scalable processes and mechanisms for recruiting or PXT-related operations
  • Develop and deliver Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and operational readiness materials to ensure teams are equipped and prepared at launch
  • Oversee the launch process, including deployment to Beta/Production; review features to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and escalating when needed if features do not meet user expectations
