About The Position

The Rivian Supply Chain team is looking for highly motivated and exceptional supply chain professionals to bring Rivian’s engineered products to life. As a Procurement Controllership Program Manager you will support our direct purchasing teams in our vehicle and company financial objectives. Your role will focus primarily on day to day support of our Global Supply Management team members, understanding and recording the financial implications of the decisions they will make. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our Direct Procurement Leadership, providing them oversight to their team’s cost related activities and performance against company wide financial KPIs. You are expected to track numerous actions across a broad stakeholder group, and drive for accountability and accuracy for reporting. This position is based onsite in Irvine, CA and reports to Program Manager, Procurement Strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience. Or a Masters degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
Proven ability to take action on procurement strategies and achieve strategic initiatives.
Applies best practices using a combination of established rules and experience to develop mitigation plans for recurring, medium-level risks.
Professional presentation skills; facilitates structured decision-making processes.
Independently implements solutions and collaborates on evaluating potential ideas with the team.
Operates with moderate autonomy to drive improvements and results within an assigned scope.

Leads cross-functional individual contributors through program and organization-wide projects. Engages frequently with cross-functional managers to ensure alignment. Proactively sets and manages expectations.

Analyzes the nature and causes of problems in their area and begins to formulate strategies to solve them. Makes complex decisions by applying reasoned judgment.
Understands the various factors of impact including economic, political, and technology landscapes with some direction. Also understands financial business principles to translate procurement actions back to financial implications. Supports leadership to achieve current and future strategic initiatives.
