Sr. Program Manager, AI Initiatives

Red Door CollaborativeRedmond, WA

About The Position

We're hiring a Senior Program Manager to support an embedded engagement with a large enterprise technology client based in Redmond, WA. You'll sit inside a fast-moving initiative focused on AI adoption and work alongside the client's leadership, product, engineering, and partner teams to drive programs from planning through execution. This isn't a project coordination role. You'll own the orchestration of cross-functional AI programs — building and maintaining roadmaps, running executive communications, tracking progress against milestones, and synthesizing data to inform decisions at the leadership level. You'll be the person who keeps complex, multi-team initiatives moving with clarity and accountability. You'll report to Red Door's engagement lead for this client. The work is embedded, which means your day-to-day operates inside the client's environment — their cadences, their stakeholders, their pace — while staying connected to Red Door's team and standards. We're actively hiring for this role and targeting an April 1, 2026 start date. If you're the right fit, we want to move quickly.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in program or project management, working inside or alongside large enterprise technology organizations.
  • You've managed complex, multi-stakeholder programs and you know what it takes to keep them moving.
  • You've worked in embedded or client-facing environments. You're comfortable operating inside a client's culture and cadence while staying accountable to your own team's standards.
  • You have real experience with executive-level communications. Writing a crisp status update, building a readout deck, or facilitating a leadership briefing isn't a stretch — it's something you do regularly and do well.
  • You're analytically capable. You're comfortable pulling and working with data — Copilot usage reports, adoption metrics, program KPIs. You can spot what matters, summarize it clearly, and connect it to decisions.
  • You don't need someone to hand you a template.
  • You have a genuine working knowledge of AI tools. You've used Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or comparable tools in a professional context. You understand the landscape well enough to work credibly inside an AI-focused initiative — and you're curious about where it's going.
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and change. Enterprise AI programs shift. Priorities get reprioritized. You don't need a perfect brief to get moving, and you're good at keeping people aligned even when the ground is shifting.
  • You're a strong communicator across levels. You can adjust your register — peer-to-peer with a product manager, buttoned-up with an executive. You write clearly, present confidently, and know when to escalate.
  • You have an open, growth-oriented mindset about AI. You're not just coordinating an AI program — you're curious about the tools themselves. We need someone who sees AI as a capability to understand and leverage, not just a workstream to manage.

Responsibilities

  • AI program ownership: Own and orchestrate cross-functional AI initiatives from ideation to execution. You're not just tracking tasks — you're responsible for alignment, momentum, and measurable outcomes across leadership, product, engineering, and partner teams.
  • Roadmap and milestone management: Drive AI roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and weekly progress reporting for executive stakeholders. Keep the plan current, flag risks early, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Executive communications: Lead program communications — exec readouts, written updates, and stakeholder briefings. You're translating complex, multi-workstream progress into clear, confident narratives for senior audiences.
  • Coordination and cadence: Manage calendars, forums, and recurring cadences across leadership, product, engineering, and partners. Keep the right people in the room at the right time with the right context.
  • Adoption initiative support: Support planning and execution of AI adoption initiatives, including cross-team orchestration and timeline management. These are high-visibility programs that require tight coordination and steady hands.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Pull, analyze, and summarize AI and Microsoft Copilot usage data on a weekly basis. Translate usage signals into insights that inform decisions and surface trends for leadership.
  • Strategy and planning materials: Maintain and update strategy, planning, and status decks used by leadership and field teams. These materials need to be accurate, clear, and ready when decision-makers need them.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Partner with internal and external teams to land initiatives with clarity, readiness, and measurable impact. You know how to work across organizational lines without losing momentum.
