About The Position

The Event Security Principal Program Lead serves as Chick-fil-A’s primary leader for the planning, coordination, and execution of security programs for all corporate-sponsored events. This role owns end-to-end event security strategy and delivery for gatherings ranging from mid to large-scale corporate-sponsored events, ensuring security measures support both safety and Chick-fil-A’s culture of hospitality. Working closely with Event Planning, Executive Protection, Corporate Security, and the Enterprise Protection Information Center (EPIC), this leader develops tailored, risk-based solutions that are scalable, effective, and minimally disruptive to the attendee experience. The role is responsible for building strong internal and external partnerships, serving as a trusted advisor on event security, and ensuring the successful execution of comprehensive security plans. In addition, the position provides support for broader Corporate Security initiatives and day-to-day security operations as needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional leadership experience in law enforcement or 4+ years of experience in Corporate, Private, or Event Security
• Expertise in planning and executing security programs for corporate events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale events.
• Ability to assess threats, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective mitigation and emergency response plans.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and effectively collaborate with event planners, executives, security teams, law enforcement, and external partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear recommendations and make sound decisions in dynamic environments.

• Knowledge of executive protection principles and integrating security measures for senior leaders and VIP attendees.
• Experience evaluating threat information and applying intelligence to event security planning.
• Experience developing security standards, procedures, playbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading security operations within a large corporate or enterprise environment while balancing security requirements with a hospitality-focused culture
• Security certifications (CPP, PSP, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise-wide visibility into corporate-sponsored events and provide security consultation throughout the event planning lifecycle.
• Assess events using established security and risk management frameworks to determine appropriate security requirements, resources, and levels of support.
• Develop and execute comprehensive event security plans that prioritize attendee safety while preserving Chick-fil-A’s culture of hospitality and care.
• Lead the coordination of all qualified event security operations, including stakeholder engagement, security personnel management, law enforcement partnerships, intelligence monitoring, security briefings, emergency response planning, communications, and after-action reviews.
• Partner closely with the Executive Protection team to ensure appropriate planning, accommodations, and security measures are in place for executive leadership and VIP attendees.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve event security policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Manage security vendor relationships, including performance oversight, service delivery, and alignment with organizational standards and expectations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to event planning teams, providing risk-based recommendations that enable safe, seamless, and welcoming event experiences.
• Provides support for broader Corporate Security initiatives and day-to-day security operations.
