Sr Product Manager
About The Position
As a Sr Product Manager for IMC Portable Gas Detection at Honeywell, you will lead the development and execution of software and connected strategies for portable gas detection products. You will drive innovation and integration of connected technologies to enhance software and product capabilities and customer value in the industrial safety market. You will report directly to our Product Growth Team Leader and will work from our Lincolnshire, IL or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the strategic direction and growth of Honeywell's portable gas detection offerings by leveraging software and connected technologies to improve safety, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making for customers worldwide. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated software and product strategies for portable gas detection solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to drive product innovation and market adoption.
- Lead market research and customer discovery efforts to identify unmet needs and emerging trends in software and connected safety technologies.
- Conduct VOC to identify customer value-added features and develop a portable connected solution that delivers on safety outcomes.
- Define product requirements and roadmaps that integrate software, connectivity features, and data analytics capabilities.
- Manage product lifecycle from concept through launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring successful delivery and adoption.
- Develop a thorough go-to-market strategy based on customer segments in a channel heavy business.
- Develop a comprehensive recurring revenue model and strategy for the IMC Portables product line focusing on software and connected services.
