About The Position

As a technical product manager on Venmo payments, you will help design, shape, and drive payment solutions to enable our partners to deliver incredible customer experiences. Your primary objective will be to deliver high quality payment offerings to our clients by bridging the technical, payments and business domains. You will focus on providing innovative solutions that are scalable and robust, improving the payment experiences for our customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or related technical role.
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping payments products.
• Familiarity with AWS managed payments service is a plus.
• Strong technical background and ability to understand and work with distributed systems architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Uses data to build insights on product or platform requirements consistent with the shared vision for the product.
• Gathers insights from the customer experience and customer needs to input to product requirements
• Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies, research and market analysis to support data-driven decision making
• Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
• Lead sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution.
• Interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed.
• Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities.
